patricksbeardandtherustyrazors:
I’m happy to announce that Patrick’s Beard and The Rusty Razors’ debut album, “True Tales of The Human Condition”, will be released via Brolester Records. The band will play a CD release party on September 23rd at Bombay Bicycle Club in Des Moines. Mr. Baber’s Neighbors: The Solar String Band will also play. The album will be available in stores and online the following Tuesday, September 27th.
As the title suggests, True Tales is a collection of heartfelt songs about the trials and rewards of everyday life. Stories of good times and bad, love, loss, joy and despair- every human emotion is represented.
The album features stunning artwork by Tony Streeter (Cicada Grove) and was recorded by Mitch Stein at Audio Aggregate Recordings. It also features guest appearances by some of central Iowa’s best musicians- dobro by Charlie Formaro of Mr Baber’s Neighbors, fiddle by Billy Kearney of Floodplane and trumpet by Erik Brown of The Maw, Aquamarine Dream Machine, Stutterin’ Jimi and Thankful Dirt Trio.
